Green, Carter, Anderson Strike First on Night 1 of Jon Fuller Memorial at Scotland County Speedway
Memphis, Missouri (April 24, 2026) — Brayton Carter opened the Jon Fuller Memorial in style Friday night, capturing Night #1 of the KS Engineering Ironman B-Mod feature at Scotland County Speedway and pocketing the $1,200 top prize.
The feature began with Jake Richards leading the field to green from the pole. Richards looked poised for a dominant performance early, setting the pace and appearing headed for victory before a caution flag changed the complexion of the race.
On the restart, Adam Birck took advantage of the opportunity and surged past Richards to claim the lead. Birck then controlled the next eight circuits while the battle behind him intensified.
Meanwhile, Carter was steadily working his way forward. Once he reached striking distance, the Iowa standout made his move, slipping past Birck and driving away to secure his first Ironman Series win of the 2026 season.
Behind Carter at the checkered flag, Birck settled for runner-up honors while Stephen Clancy completed the podium in third. Dan Hovden crossed the line fourth, with Richards recovering to round out the top five.
One of the strongest drives of the night belonged to Austen Becerra, who charged from 19th starting position to finish sixth.
Scotland County Speedway fans were treated to an impressive performance Friday night as Parker Anderson powered the 47P machine to victory in the USRA Hobby Stock division during Night 1 of the Jon Fuller Memorial.
Anderson started the evening strong and never looked back, leading every lap en route to the $500 payday. The standout performance marked his first win of the season and a perfect way to kick off his 2026 campaign.
While Anderson checked out front, the battle behind him kept fans on the edge of their seats. Jeremy Dooley put together a solid run to finish second, while Caden Helle crossed the stripe in third. Branden Schaer came home fourth, and Eric Glass rounded out the top five finishers.
The USRA Iron Man Series Stock Cars powered by KS Engineering and featuring the tough Terminator Chassis machines put on another thrilling performance Friday night at the Jon Fuller Memorial, and it was Derek Green proving once again why he is one of the best in the business.
Green charged his way to the front and never looked back in the 20-lap feature, collecting the $1,500 top prize in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Scotland County Speedway.
The race opened with Jesse Brown leading the field to green from the pole position. Brown looked strong early and appeared ready to score a major win before Dennis Elliott found his groove and stormed to the lead. Elliott then looked poised to drive away from the field, but the hard-charging Derek Green had other plans.
Known for his smooth style and ability to work through traffic, Green methodically picked off the competition before taking command of the race. Once out front, the “Green Machine” was untouchable, leading the final 11 laps on his way to victory lane.
Schweizer crossed the line in second after a strong run, while Elliott completed the podium in third. Randy Foote drove a solid race to finish fourth, and Jaylen Wettengel rounded out the top five finishers.
The Jon Fuller Memorial continues Saturday night at Scotland County Speedway with another full program of racing action and more big money on the line. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for what promises to be another exciting evening in Memphis, Missouri.
